The principles below are how DerVort is being designed:
Your voice
Audio you dictate is processed to produce your text. It is not used to advertise to you and is not sold.
Helping the models learn
If you turn on "help improve DerVort", part of signup, and a plain switch in Settings, we keep your dictations to train our Yiddish models: the audio you spoke, the text you received, and any corrections you made. This is how DerVort gets better at real Heimish Yiddish. Your dictations are used only to improve DerVort's own models, never sold, never shared.
- Your choice: turn it off any time in Settings; capture stops immediately.
- Off means off: with the switch off, your dictations are not kept at all.
- Deleting: ask us and your captured dictations are deleted. Exact deletion timelines will be spelled out here before launch.
Your history
Your dictation history belongs to you: you can view it, delete it, or turn history off entirely.
Your dictionary
Your personal dictionary is yours. In a team account, the team's shared dictionary is visible to that team only.
